If you live in Boston and happened to pass by Boston’s Prudential Plaza a couple days ago, you were probably wondering what a giant 18-foot sunflower was doing in front of the building. Known as Solar Flowers, these gigantic sunflowers will be popping up all over the place courtesy of Toyota and its 2010 Prius.

“These larger-than-life installations provide a place for you to sit and soak up the sun, along with access to free Wi-Fi and power to charge your laptop and cell phone” Toyota said. “Prius Solar Flowers will only be in each city for a few days so make sure to enjoy them while they”re around.”

If you’re in Boston and you’re just finding out about the Solar Flower – don’t bother going to look for it now, it’s been gone since July 19th.
