2010 Opel Astra teasers released
The 2010 Opel Astra will be making its world debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. To get us a little more anxious, GM has released some teaser shots of the new Astra in a five-door variant pictured with Lead Designer Marc van der Haegen and Engineering Coordinator Laszlo Kreth.
The two are hiding the detailed parts of the body with pieces of paper sketches of the Astra.
It is said that other than the five-door hatchback Astra, Opel is also looking to introduce a three-door variant, a sedan and a starting wagon. A convertible coupe with a folding hardtop is also in the works.
It was recently reported that the U.S. based Astra, currently sold under Saturn which will be ending its reign in 2009, will join the Buick lineup.
