Renault-Nissan alliance to promote electric-vehicle charging network in Phoenix
The Renault-Nissan alliance has announced that Nissan and Maricopa Association of Governments (otherwise known as MAG), which represents the Phoenix metropolitan region, are forming a partnership to advance zero-emission mobility by promoting the development of an electric-vehicle charging network
To make the Phoenix Metro Area EV-ready, ECOtality will also join Nissan and MAG to promote a charging network infrastructure.
As reported in our first drive of the Nissan Cube EV Prototype, Nissan will be introducing electric-cars in the U.S. in 2010 and will mass market them globally in 2012.
