2009 New York: 2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG roars into the Big Apple

Here it is – one of the hand full of high-performance models making their debut at the 2009 New York Auto Show – the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. 

To be honest we’re quite disappointed that the 2010 E63 AMG doesn’t see a significant jump in power. With the outgoing model producing 507-hp the 6.3L V8 now produces just 11-hp more for a total of 518-hp. That allows the 2010 E63 AMG to go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed that is electronically limited to 155 mph.

Sales of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG will start later this year. Pricing info and availability details will be announced closer to the launch date.
