We’ve already heard a lot about the 2009 Mini Cooper Convertible and the 2009 Mini John Cooper Works Convertible. Nonetheless, there is one Mini debut that will be of significance to those looking for an affordable, fuel-efficient, yet spacious Mini Copper.
The Mini One Clubman has made its auto show debut in Geneva and is available to order now with prices starting at £13,290 ($19,219 USD). Under the hood is a 1.4L 4-cylinder gasoline engine good for 95-hp. That is mated to a range of fuel-saving technologies such as brake energy regeneration, auto start/stop and shift point display – all which allow the Mini One Clubman to average 44 mpg.
Unfortunately, those frugal fuel-sipping buyers in the U.S. that are getting a watery mouth right now, will be disappointed. The Mini One Clubman is not U.S. bound… as of yet.
