Toyota to debut battery electric vehicle concept in Detroit

Besides showing us the next-generation 2010 Toyota Prius and a new dedicated hybrid for the Lexus brand, Toyota announced today that it will debut a battery electric-vehicle concept at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit Next month.

Toyota has released no details or images of the electric-vehicle concept so we’re not sure whether it will be a plug-in version of the Prius.
