2009 Audi A4 now offered with front-wheel-drive and 6-speed manual with quattro

Audi announced today that it is expanding its 2009 A4 lineup with two new models. One of the two new models will feature front-wheel-drive while the other will feature a 6-speed manual transmission.

The 2009 A4 2.0T FrontTrak is mated with Audi’s multitronic CVT transmission and the award-winning Audi 2.0 TFSI engine that produces 211-hp allowing for a 0 to 60 mph time in 6.7 seconds. As a result of the front-wheel-drive architecture and the powertrain, the base level 2009 A4 will return an EPA rated fuel-economy of 23/30 mpg (city/highway).

The 2009 Audi A4 quattro with the 6-speed manual transmission offers a sport driving experience for those who prefer to shift gears themselves while offering an EPA fuel-economy ratings of 22/30 mpg.

Pricing for the 2009 A4 FrontTrak will start at $31,000 and $31,850 for the base manual quattro model. The A4 2.0T FrontTrak will be available at dealerships later this month and the 2.0T quattro manual models will arrive in early 2009.
