A little bit early for the 2009 Geneva Motor Show previews to come out but its a change from the constant auto bailout news. Rinspeed announced today that it will unveil its iChange Concept at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The iChage is a “1-2-3-seater” powered by a 174-hp electric motor.
So what in the world is a “1-2-3 seater?” The Rinspeed iChange’s original body accommodates only the driver but the “electronic trick-tail” feature allows two more passenger to join him after the car’s rear end has risen “by magic.” Rinspeed describes it as “a full-blooded sports car turns into a compact sportsvan.”
Rinspeed says that the car will enter production in the second-quarter of next year – okay we’re kidding that’s not true.
