2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab earns 5-Star rating in front crash testing

It’s time for some positive Chrysler news. While the domestic automaker is seeking $7 billion before the end of 2008 and has reportedly hired a bankruptcy counsel – Chrysler announced today that its new 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab earned 5-star safety ratings in U.S. government’s crash tests.

The new 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab earned a 5-star rating for driver and front-passenger protection in a frontal crash.

“Our all-new 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 offers a truck-load of advanced safety and security features including advanced multi-stage driver and front-passenger air bags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), with traction control, hill-start assist, trailer sway control and brake assist,” said Scott Kunselman, Vice President ““ Jeep / Truck Product Team.

The 2009 Dodge Ram is available at dealerships now with a starting price-tag of $22,170 for regular cab models, $26,225 for Quad Cab models and $32,530 for Ram Crew 1500 models.
