Video: The Garage419 Invitational

Being a part of the automotive industry and blogging 24/7 has its ups and downs. Downs being you basically have no life except to stay up-to-date with all the automotive news. The ups include things like the Garage419 Invitational. Our friends at Garage419 put together a one-hour endurance karting event at the Grand Prix New York in Mount Kisco last weekend.

Why? Well for one to get the viewers of Garage419 to race against some of the best drivers in the country and second to raise money for Racing 4 Research and the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Entrants were allowed to race for free but were encouraged to have friends and family pledge donations on a per-lap basis to support their team (you can make a donation yourself by clicking here).

Twelve teams of two drivers each went at it and you can check out all the action in a two part video from Garage419 after the jump.
