The first spy shots of Lamborghini’s replacement for the Murcielago has been snapped hanging outside of Audi’s research center in Germany. Sources say that the car will carry the name ‘Jota’ and will be light and faster than the current Murcielago.
But you’re probably thinking that this looks just like the current Murcielago. Well, that’s because this is the first prototype but underneath there is a new aluminum chassis and if you look closely you can see that the prototype is also wider.
Under the hood we’re expected to see a 6 liter V12 with direct-injection that will make around 700-hp. Final design is expected to be heavily inspired by the Reventon.
