Video: InsideLine attempts top speed in 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR

So you think the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is the only $100,000 American muscle you can buy with 600+ horsepower with a top speed of 200mph+ that you’ll probably never hit. Well, let’s not forget the 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR. The base 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 will cost you around $86,000 but to add on the ACR package you”ll have to cash out an additional $12,000.

Powered by an 8.4 liter V10 engine that produces 600 horsepower and 560 lb-ft. of torque, the Viper SRT-10 ACR also belongs to the 200mph+ top speed club. But where do you go to attempt that top speed?

The guys at InsideLine recently took their Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR to the Bonneville Salt Flats top attempt a top speed of more than 200mph. Check out this video of their trip.
