2009 Ford Ka image leaked online
The Ford Ka is currently not a part of Ford’s strategy of importing its European models to the U.S. but given the current market conditions, we wouldn’t be surprised if the heads at FoMoCo are considering it. Anyway, an image of the upcoming 2009 Ford Ka has been leaked on the internet, giving us a first look at the subcompact Ford that shares its platform with the Fiat 500.
Official details with more images will be released at the 2008 Paris Motor Show in October, but for now we know that the Ka will come with a choice of a 1.2L producing 63-hp, 1.4L producing 100-hp and a 1.3L Multijet diesel producing 75-hp with a fuel-economy of more than 40mpg.
An ST version of the SportKa is rumored to be in the works with power coming from a 150-hp 1.4L turbocharged engine.
