Mopar to unveil Dodge Challenger Drag Race package on July 13th

Muscle car fans get ready to mark your calendars because Mopar has finally announced that on July 13 it will unveil the new Dodge Challenger Drag Race Package. The event is scheduled to take place at the yearly Mopar Mile-High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway in Denver.

No details are available as of yet, but the Drag Race Package for the new Dodge Challenger marks the 70th anniversary of Mopar and the 40 years since the last package vehicles rolled out for Chrysler.

The Dodge Challenger Drag Race is based on the 425-hp Challenger SRT8 and will feature a white body with stripes which has been modified to cut excess weight.

Chrysler will offer three different engine choices with a limited production of 100 units.
