After seeing these latest spy shots of the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, we have to say – we think GM has finally produced a quality and good looking compact car. A prototype of the next-generation Chevrolet Cobalt was recently spotted under going testing.
The next-generation Cobalt will be built on GM’s new global compact architecture that is supposed to underpin the next Saturn Astra as well as the Chevrolet Volt.
From the shots you can see the new two-tiered grille as seen on the new 2009 Chevrolet Malibu. If you were looking for a small/compact fuel-efficient Malibu (with sexier tail-lamps) the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt could be it. The car is expected to arrive in U.S. showrooms in late 2009 – early 2010.
Head over to Jalopnik to see the full shots.
