2010 Camaro gets right hand drive, 6.0L 400-hp version confirmed

Chevrolet confirmed that new 2010 Camaro will be converted to a right-hand-drive model for the European market. According to Wayne Brannon, CEO of Chevrolet Europe, the European market will get 1,000 units of the coupe and 1000 units of the convertible.

He said that the exact number of 6.0L producing 400-hp Camaros to be officialy imported is still undecided but expects to see about 300 units of each variant. The Euro-version of the Camaro will debut this year’s London Motor Show.

The Camaro is expected to be launched in the UK under the Chevrolet name, unlike the Corvette which is sold as a standalone brand. Sales of the Camaro coupe are expected to begin early 2010 with pricing to be above £35,695.
