Lexus IS 250 SR gives UK buyers entry level sportiness
Giving the lucky UK buyers a chance at a sporty entry level model, Lexus has revealed its new IS 250 SR. The new Lexus IS 250 SR gets a full body kit with 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels along with aluminum plates and pedals and subtle visual upgrades on the inside. And as if the sportiness won’t get you heated up regardless, Lexus is offering heating seats as standard in the IS 250 SR.
Other standard features include 10 airbags, climate control, cruise control, smart keyless entry and engine start and sequenced LED interior lighting. Also, those who want to make a bigger statement can opt for five-spoke 18-inch Tsuki rims.
The new Lexus IS 250 SR is available in either Velvet Black, Cadoxton Slate or Argento Ice metallic finishes. All come with a Worcester Black interior trim. Sales start May 19th with prices starting from £24,990 (manual) and £25,800 (automatic).

Hot in the wheeltracks of the storming IS F comes another new Lexus, the IS 250 SR. This sporty addition to the IS range expresses its performance credentials with a full body kit and 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels on the outside. Aluminium scuff plates and pedals add subtle visual enhancements on the inside. Heated front seats are also fitted as standard.
The IS 250 SR is designed to deliver some of the sporting allure of the IS F and IS 250 Sport at a high value price. Based on the entry-level IS 250, the new model is packed with features that have a combined customer value of more than £3,500, yet the price tag is less than £1,000 greater model-for-model.

The car”s already powerful lines are enhanced with deep skirts to the front, rear and sides and a rear spoiler. Owners who want an even more sporty statement can specify five-spoke 18-inch Tsuki rims.
Powered by a 204bhp 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine, the IS 250 SR will accelerate from rest to 62mph in 8.1 seconds (8.4 with the optional six-speed automatic transmission) and progress to a top speed in excess of 140mph.
