Nissan GT-R V-Spec laps 'Ring 18 seconds faster than the standard Godzilla

Following in the footsteps of the original Godzilla that hit the Nurburgring and made headlines left and right, the Godzilla on steroids was recently spotted making its round at the famous German circuit. From the images you can see that the upcoming Nissan GT-R V-Spec has a new front splitter, different wheels and a redesigned spoiler.

So now you’re probably wondering how quick was the GT-R V-Spec compared to its friendlier brother. Sources on the ground are claiming that the car is at least 18 seconds faster around the Nordschleife than the standard model carrying a lap time of less than 7:25.

The V-Spec has been rumored to be 300 pounds lighter than the original GT-R and is expected to get at least.

The regular Nissan GT-R just took the UK by storm bringing in 700 deposits within 48 hours. Pricing starts at £52,900, but the V-Spec will cost at least £10,000 more. We expect the car to make auto show rounds in 2010.
