Njection and Garmin team up to provide speed trap alerts

Njection and Garmin announced today that they have teamed up to provide Garmin GPS system owners the ability to download speed traps and red light camera information. The service will allow drivers to spot speed traps to avoid being ticketed by the authorities of money-hungry cities.

Drivers will be warned via their Garmin GPS system when they come close to over 50,000 speed trap or red light camera locations determined by Njection.com users.

Njection says that they are working on exporting their 50 Thousands speed traps to GPS enabled mobile phones and devices. Njection uses Microsoft Visual Earth on their site to show speed traps and red light camera location submitted by their users. Check out their site at http://njection.com/speedtrap/.
