ABT gives Volkswagen R32 370-hp, 0-62 in 5 seconds

While it’s no 640-hp HGP Golf R36, ABT Sportsline’s new ABT R32 is still pretty impressive. No major design changes were made besides 19-inch wheels, new side skirts, blackened chrome dual exhaust pipes and some ABT decals on the body. No interior upgrades or any major body kit upgrade has been announced.

Under the hood however is a different story. Horsepower is bumped from 250 to 370. The 120-hp increase was made possible by a modified motor management system and an ABT compressor kit with a supercharger and air cooling system. Top speed was increased to 168mph while 0-62mph comes in at just 5.0 seconds.

Performance was also enhanced with ABT’s Autobahn sports suspension kit.
