2009 Subaru Forester pricing announced

Subaru today announced pricing for the new redesigned 2009 Subaru Forester crossover. Powered by a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine the base 2009 Forester starts at $20,660, a $1,085 drop from the outgoing model. The engine comes with a choice of manual or automatic transmission, while the 224 horsepower turbocharged variant comes standard with an automatic transmission.

The 2009 Subaru Forester will come in three different trim levels including X, X with Premium Package and the L.L. Bean Edition. The turbocharged Forester is available in only two trim packages including the XT and XT Limited.

The 2009 Forester with Premium Package starts at $23,160 and comes with a power moonroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, steering wheel audio controls, roof rails and reclining rear seats. The L.L. Bean Edition starts at $26,660 and includes a more refined interior, dual-climate control system, premium sound system and a 10-way power driver’s seat.

The range-topper 2.5XT Limited tops out at $28,860. All models come with Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system as standard.
