Thief steals urinal sensor to increase performance of a Mercedes

Wang Chi-sheng, a young mechanic, was caught trying to steal heat sensors used on urinals, which he claimed to use to modify the performance of a Mercedes-Benz.

Wang was caught entering a closed-down gas station restroom and trying to steal heat sensors used on the urinal. Police said the escorted Wang out as they laughed while listening to his plan to use the sensors to test out his design for improving a Mercedes-Benz car. There is no explanation on how Wang planned on doing that.

Nonetheless, to clear up any curiosity, the Taiwan Mercedes tech department released a statement saying Wang’s scheme was “unbelievable.” saying that”

the probability of successfully using a sensor from a public urinal to replace special factory-made sensors was and remains zero.
