According to the guys over at Inside Line, Lamborghini will unveil a facelifted Gallardo at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. Most likely to be called the LP550, the car is said to have a ‘more aggressive character is emphasized with a deeply revised body kit, featuring completely restyled front and rear ends.’
Power will come from a 5.2 liter V10 engine with direct-injection technology producing 550 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The manual gearbox and the optional E-gear sequential transmission have both been improved to send more power and torque to a lighter all-wheel-drive system.
Lamborghini will announce pricing detail in Geneva, but expect it to fall under the LP640 at around $182,000.
