Toyota & GM might end up sharing hybrid systems

Toyota has already said they will want to produce a hybrid version of every car. It’s rumored though that the hybrid version of the Toyota Matrix would have a sibling in its Pontiac Vibe rival. Yes, that would mean a GM product with a Toyota hybrid system. 

While this sounds rather strange as GM has been adamant that it would use its own hybrid system for its passenger cars, it makes sense since the Vibe and Matrix are very much the same car.

Guess it just save development cost for GM so they can implement their resources in getting out the Chevy Volt faster.
