Happy New Year: Nissan will begin taking orders for GT-R on Jan 1, 2008

What a better way to celebrate the New Years than ordering a brand new Nissan GT-R for yourself. According to the Los Angeles Times, Nissan will begin taking orders for the brand new Nissan GT-R on January 1, 2008 while deliveries will begin sometime in June 2008.
Nissan is allocating only 1,500 units of the GT-R for the U.S. next year with a starting price of $69,850. The premium model will run you $71,900.
The Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.8 liter V6 engine that produces 480 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 mph takes a quick 3.5 seconds while top speed is 192 mph.
