Toyota of North America today is launching its biggest corporate ad campaign in its history hoping to build an emotional connection with the consumers. The print and online ad campaign is called ‘Why Not?’
The Toyota ‘Why Not?’ campaign has three themes including environmental commitment, economic impact and social responsibility. According to Steve Strum, group vice president of strategic reach, the campaign is designed to get Toyota’s U.S. customers in touch with the company’s vision.
While Toyota would not say how much it invested in the campaign, Advertising Age estimates that the budget was well over $40 million. The campaign is the work of The Dentsu America agency, in New York.
