UAW ends strike against Chrysler

Just this morning at 11am UAW went on a strike against Chrysler LLC. The UAW has now announced that it has reached a deal on new labor contracts with Chrysler that covers 45,000 hourly workers.

UAW said that Chrysler workers will be returning to their jobs on the next shift.

“This agreement was made possible because UAW workers made it clear to Chrysler that we needed an agreement that rewards the contributions they have made to the success of this company,” said UAW President Ron Gettelfinger.

Ford should be up next.
