2008 Cadillac CTS leads in sales of redesigned cars

The most anticipated models for 2008 have hit showrooms and it seems like buyers are rushing in to snatch up redesigned models The 2008 Cadillac CTS, Honda Accord and Mercedes-Benz C-Class have all received a total redesign and have all upped the ante over their predecessors.

The folks over at KickingTires compared the sales for September to August for the three brands, since in August most auto makers increase incentives of leftover 2007 models. The 2008 Cadillac CTS came in on top with an increase of 73.5% in September sales. August sales were down 9.1% as dealers got rid of leftover 2007 models.

The newly redesigned 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class increased C-Class sales 31.2% in September. In August, sales were down 1.9%.

The widely advertised 2008 Honda Accord boosted Accord sales 31.2% in September.
