So we’ve been going back and forth with Jaguar on the new XF, trying to get as much as information on the car we could possibly gather. When we asked them about U.S. pricing on the car, we were told that although they don’t have any pricing info as of yet, they do know that the Jaguar XF will make its U.S. debut at the LA Auto Show, where Jaguar will release official North American pricing.
Since the Jaguar XF replaces the S-Type as a direct rival to the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class we expect pricing to be competitive for that segment. Currently, estimated pricing for the XF is around $56,000 to $65,000.
The Jaguar XF made its debut earlier this week with UK pricing already announced. In the UK, the XF will start at £33,900 ($68,208) for the 2.7 liter V6 diesel or the 3.0 liter V6 petrol. The 4.2 liter V8 Jaguar XF models start at £44,500 ($89,538). U.S. will only be getting the 4.2 liter V8 variants.
In the U.S. the Jaguar XF will only come in a base 4.2 liter V8 engine will produce 300 horsepower and a 4.2 liter Supercharged V8 engine that will produce 420 horsepower. Jaguar will offer three trim levels including Luxury, Premium Luxury and Supercharged.
