Originally, the Toyota Blade comes with a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder unit that produces 165 horsepower. Toyota has now given the Blade, which is a more aggressive version of the Toyota Auris, a new 3.5 liter V6 unit to add a little punch.
The 3.5 liter unit is a detuned version of the 3456cc unit from the Lexus IS350, producing 276 horsepower and 254 lb-ft of torque. The Toyota Blade Master G is matted with a six-speed sequential auto with paddle shifters.
To fit the bigger engine into the more powerful Blade, Toyota had to make the Blade Master G’s front bigger with a deeper grille along with 17-inch wheels.
Aimed at Golf R32 wannabes buyers, the Toyota Blade Master G hits the roads in Japan with a price tag of $27,725. However, Toyota has no plans to give the Blade Master G to the US or Europe.
