2008 Camry Hybrid gets a $1,000 price cut

Toyota has cut the price of its 2008 Camry Hybrid by $1,000 to $25,860, including destination charges. To get to the new new price, Toyota has cut back on a couple of standard features that came with the 2007 model.

The 2007 model featured alloy wheels, JBL audio system, leather steering wheel and shift knob, and electrochromic mirror with compass and Homelink. The 2008 Camry Hybrid comes with steel wheels, a single-disc CD player, urethane shift knob and steering wheel and manual day/night mirror.

On the other hand, Toyota has raised the price by $100 across on the regular Camry starting at $19,230.
