Rolls-Royce launches first pre-owned car program – still expensive

If you always wanted to drive around in a Rolls-Royce Phantom while every one looked at you with envy but didn’t want to spend a lot of money, Rolls-Royce is now offering an easier solution. The company has just launched it first approved program for pre-owned cars.

Known as the Rolls-Royce Provenance, the program ensures that each car meets the criteria set by Rolls-Royce to gain the Provenance seal of approval. Factory-trained technicians conduct a painstaking inspection procedure, including a full road test, to ensure that every Provenance car reaches the highest standards prior to delivery.

While all that may sound dandy, you’re still going to be cashing out a fair amount of money. According to AutoCar, Rolls-Royce’s London dealership has two Provenance cars for sale with the cheapest being  a four-year-old Phantom with 21,000 miles. That will cost you £179,950 ($386,213).

Believe us, you’re not the only one out their that can’t afford a Rolls.
