Acura earns top ranking of US dealerships

Even though we do it maybe once a month if we’re lucky, we are always excited to report Acura related news. Recently, Acura earned itself the number 1 spot in a consumer satisfaction survey that measured how well US consumers felt they were treated in dealer showrooms, despite the fact whether they purchased the car or not.

“The dealerships that scored well all give customers a reason to be interested other than the deal,” said Fran O’Hagan, study author and president of Pied Piper. “Acura dealers were very consistent in all categories.”

Acura was followed by Land Rover at number two, while VW, Nissan, Saab, Audi and BMW also made the Top 10.

Another interesting point the research showed was that up to 30 percent of US vehicle shoppers do not buy on the same day they visit a showroom.
