Tuner Cars: Nismo Type 380RS with 350hp

The 2007 Nismo 350Z is one our favorite cars here at eGMCarTech. While it has a few aerodynamics enhances the car is powered by the same 306 horsepower engine as the original Nissan 350Z. Well now, Nissan has probably pushed the 350Z as far as it possibly can with the new Nismo Type 380RS. The Nismo Type 380RS is the American version of the Fairlady Z Type 380RS-Competition in Japan. Oh and it has more power and a bigger price tag.

The Nismo Type 380RS is powered by a 3.8 liter V6 engine that produces 350 horsepower with 293 lb-ft. of road-going torque. As with the Nismo 350Z, the Nismo Type 380 RS featured NISMO”s aerodynamics package with an aggressive front fascia with chin spoiler, side skirts, a larger rear fascia with functional air diffuser and rear wing.

The car also features specially tuned multi-link suspension, Brembo brakes and Bridgestone Potenza RE01R tires.

While the Nismo 350Z starts at $38,070, pricing for the Nismo Type 380RS starts at $44,000.
