New York Auto Show: 2008 Cadillac STS gets a new grille

GM already has a huge lineup debuting at the New York Auto Show, and now its adding the new 2008 Cadillac STS to the list. With a new grille and side vents, the 2008 Cadillac STS takes design cues from the 2008 Cadillac CTS. The back end of the 2008 STS was hardly touched, but under the hood it gets Caddy’s new 3.6 liter direct-injection V6 engine that produces 298 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque.

Cadillac claims that the new direct-injection engine cuts cold-start hydrocarbons by a quarter and improves fuel consumption by 15 percent.
