Hyundai confirms luxury car for U.S. in 2008

Kia is planning an Audi TT fighter and now Hyundai is on its way to become a luxury model. We’re just wondering what’s going to happen to cheap reliable cars in the next few years? Hopefully, these new models from the Korean auto makers will still remain affordable. Anyway, Automotive News reports that Hyundai has confirmed that it is planning a luxury car for the United States set to debut in 2008, which will sit right above the Hyundai Azera. Code-named BH, the rear-wheel drive car will be built in South Korea and will have a V8 engine.

The Huyndai Concept Genesis which is headed for the New York Auto Show (which we will be covering live, so make sure you join us April 4th – April 5th), could be the basis for the 2008 luxury model. Check out sketch of the Huyndai Concept Genesis below.
