MINI hoping for huge growth with Clubman wagon and 12 stores

Sources have confirmed that BMW’s MINI brand will be expanding with 12 more location within the next four years along with a wave of new models in the United States. MINI hopes to have the plan for 12 dealers completed by 2011 and hopes to increase sales up to 56,000 by 2009, and increae of 16,829 from its sales in 2006.

Most of the growth is expected to come from the upcoming Clubman wagon that is expected to go on sale in early 2008.

As we’ve reported before, MINI’s CEO, Jim McDowell has said “expect to see four to five models in total from the MINI brand in the next five years.”
