DaimlerChrysler and General Motors are in talks to develop a large SUV that will be based on the Chevrolet Suburban. Wall Street Journal is reporting that DaimlerChrysler is in talks with GM on developing a large SUV in order to increase sales and save development costs for Chrysler.
Talks have been going on for about six months, but the two companies have yet to reach a final decision. The DaimlerChrysler group is already included in many other deals such as a minivan with Volkswagen.
