Reserve your Smart ForTwo for $99

Smart USA is doing everything it can to build up buzz for the new Smart ForTwo that will go on sale in early 2008. The company is already sending four Smart ForTwo’s on a US tour on three 38-foot-tractor-trailers. Now, Smart USA will begin taking $99 reservations for its car in about 60 days, says President David Schembri. Schembri hopes that by paying a reservation fee, Smart will have a better idea of the specification packages and colors that potential buyers will be looking for at launch time.
