Nissan To Sell 125-Mile-Range Electric Car

By 2010 Nissan Motors is planning to sell a compact electric car that will have a range of 125 miles on one charge. The company is also planning on selling a new line of hybrids, diesel and bioethanol to catch up with its competitors such as Honda and Toyota. Nissan will use its partnership with Renault to expand this new line of environmental friendly vehicles and will provide Renault with fuel cell, hybrid and other technologies. Currently, Nissan has introduced the 2007 Nissan Altima hybrid which gets 42 mpg and a 700 mile range. The 2007 Nissan Altima hybrid is expected to launch in the summer of 2007.
