Tata Motors nets $3 million from 500,000 Nano forms

Tata Motors has announced that it has received a total of 500,000 booking forms for the Nano through 30,000 outlets in India. Tata has reportedly generated at total of 15 crore ($3 million USD) from the sales of forms. Each form sold for 300 Rs ($6 USD).

Tata today unveiled the new Nano Europa which will the international Nano model. Just like the original Tata Nano, the Nano Europa is powered by a 3-cylinder engine making 33-hp. It will be mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission and electric power steering.
