GM has decided to resurrect the COPO Camaro with a concept debut at the 2011 SEMA Show last month. After several months of strategy and development, the newly formed Chevrolet Performance team is is now testing the COPO Camaro and the company says that the model could potentially be the quickest Camaro ever built by Chevrolet.

The American Guardian features a ton of the brand’s accessories, including a RAM Mounts Laptop Stand System, a Police Interceptor iForce Kit, All-Season Brite-Tread Floor Mats, and Custom Window Bars for the interior.

Outside, the truck features Dee Zee NXt Running Boards, a Blue Series Black Crossover Tool Box, Tailgate Assit, and Grill Guards. Dee Zee also included a tailgate protector, side bed caps, and a bedmat for the truck bed.

Brian Taylor created the custom graphics, and additional highlights such as Bushwacker Fender Flares and a Custom Hood created by Reflexxion Build add to the unique look of this pick up.

Sherwin-Williams provided its Plant Color line of exterior paints, including shades named Motor City Iron, Red Blooded American, and Mean Green, all of which feature reflective flake. Coats are applied at Roush’s Livonia, Michigan shop using a tri-coat process.

A total of 12 colors are available for base, accent, and graphic colors. The SEMA edition has been coated in Mat It Mango, with graphics in Performance Pearl and Sin City Silver. Roush also tuned the suspension on it’s model, which gets power from a 5.0-liter V8 that packs 540-hp under the hood.

The Chevrolet Sonic Dusk features a Berlin Blue exterior, with a mild concept ground effects package, grille treatment and 18-inch concept wheels in dark Galvano Silver. The headlamps also get a sophisticated treatment with a tinted blue shade. Inside, the Sonic Dusk Concept gets Mojave leather interior has custom seat inserts, Z-Spec shift knob with satin chrome trim, Z-Spec sport pedals and accessory interior trim kit. The interior also gets a suede-trimmed, flat-bottom steering wheel, custom audio system. For performance the car gets Brembo brake and suspension upgrades.

Joining the Sonic Dusk is the Cruze Dusk, which gets most of the modifications made to the Sonic.

• 2012 Chevrolet Sonic: The 2012 Chevrolet Sonic is available in a sedan and hatchback variant. The standard engine on the 2012 Sonic is a 1.8L DOHC inline 4-cylinder unit making 135-hp and 125 lb-ft of torque, while an optional 138-hp 1.4L turbocharged inline 4-cylinder is also available. Prices start at $14,495 for the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic LS Sedan($15,395 for the Chevrolet Sonic LS Hatchback), which is powered by a 1.8L Ecotec making 128-hp. Prices top out at $17,295 for the LTZ Sedan and $17,995 for the LTZ Hatchback. Prices start at $14,495.
• 2012 Chevrolet Cruze: The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze base LS model is powered by a 136-hp 1.8L 4-cylinder engine, while the Eco, LT and LTZ model get a 1.4L turbo 4-cylinder Ecotec engine making 138-hp and a maximum torque of 148 lb-ft. The 1.4L turbo models are expected to have a cruising range of more than 500 miles and the Cruze Eco is estimated to get an EPA fuel-economy rating of 42 mpg on the highway. All 2011 Cruze models are available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Prices start at $16,995 for the base model to $22,695 for the top-of-the-line model.

Based on the Silverado 2500 crew cab, the Silverado Realtree Concept was created in partnership with Realtree and features a custom Champagne Silver Metallic exterior with Realtree graphics. Inside is Dark Cocoa leather seating with camouflage piping and blaze orange stitching, as well as Realtree AP pattern accents throughout the interior.

Power comes from a Duramax diesel making 397-hp and 765 lb-ft of torque that provides more than enough power for towing and off-road driving. Off-road capability is also enhanced with 35-inch off-road tires on 18-inch wheels and a custom front bumper with an integrated winch. Power-actuated running boards improve entry and egress.

At the 2011 SEMA Show in Vegas, Lexus took the covers off of the new 2013 Lexus GS350 F Sport Package. The Lexus team was nice enough to video tape the whole event and throw it up on YouTube for all of us to see.

Refresher: The 2013 Lexus GS 350 is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine making 306-hp at 6,400 rpm with a maximumtorque of 277 lb-ft at 4,800 rpm. Mated to a 6-speed sequential-shift transmission, the Lexus GS sprints from 0 to 60 mph in an impressive 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 142 mph. Acceleration from 30 to 50 mph takes just 3 seconds.

The 3dCarbon Mazda2 features Spirited Green Metallic paint and gets some additional style with a vinyl graphic design from of Sticky Fingers Design. 3M Color Stable Metal-Free Window Film is used on the side and rear windows while the front windshield features 3M Crystalline Nanofilm.

While attending her classes at Stanford University, Wie shuttles herself around in a Soul the same ‘So Blue’ exterior paint scheme and 5-spoke 20-inch wheels as shown in the picture. All of the designs also incorporate her original artwork. Additionally, Wie’s artwork and personal logo are integrated into the Soul’s ‘Snow White’ leather headrests, which gets a baby blue painted dash and pink headliner and seating.

To further emphasize her love for the sport, if Wie ever feels like she’s missing the golf course, the “Hole in One” Soul also offers artificial grass flooring, a virtual driving range and a 26-inch LED TV monitor mounted into the rear hatch and a Microsoft X-Box 360 video game console with Microsoft’s Kinect system to play golf out of the back of the vehicle. So basically, it’s a pro-shop on wheels. For her passengers, the “Hole in One” Soul features TV mounted in headrests and 8-inch speakers and a subwoofer.

The SEMA Veloster will be capable of 163 bhp with a variety of bolt-on upgrades. The action doesn’t stop there though. After the show, UTI will take the Veloster on a full-blown US tour visiting some 120 autocross, supercross and school demo events.

This does well to toot UTI’s horn as a mechanic school, all while promoting a fairly unique vehicle.

But if you REALLY miss the rink on a daily basis, the Antenna Hat Trick Forte also features a mini air hockey table mounted in the boot. For rear entertainment viewing pleasure, TVs are mounted in the front seat headrests with a complementary Microsoft X-Box video game console featuring EA Sports’ NHL12 videogame.

Backing this up is a limited edition Honda Factory Performance package designed for the 2012 Civic Si. The kit is currently on sale and will be limited to 500 examples. The kit includes high-performance lowering springs (a drop of 15mm), shocks, 18”x7” alloy wheels, body kit, floor mats, red interior lights and of course the necessary emblems with which to festoon the car. Further backing the kit up is the same 3-year/36,000 mile warranty that comes with the Civic, assuming the kit is installed on a new Civic Si.

On the racing front, Honda will sell body-in-white civic bodies, negating the need for conversion of a production, street legal car. HPD will also offer specially designed parts and racing components intended for use in the SCCA world challence, and Grand Am’s Continental Sports Car Challenge, available in 2012.

The Accord gets a significant boost in concept form, chucking out 335bhp and 285 ft-lbs as a result of supercharging the stock mill. There are no production plans for the concept, which is merely there to see if consumers are interested in such a vehicle.

Honda will also offer a couple of veteran, modified CR-Zs: the CR-Z Hybrid R Concept and a Mugen-equipped CR-Z. Naturally other tuners are invited to make their own, lairy versions of the Civic: Bisimoto Engineering will show a 1004 bhp Civic Si Coupe, Tjin Edition has a family friendly, but modded Si sedan and Fox Marketing is offering a turbocharged widebody Si coupe this year.

Hand built, the Competition Series V10 features an aluminum block with aluminum cylinder heads.

“Designed for drag racing and pulling 695 lb. ft. of torque with an operating range of up to 7,000 rpm, these race-calibrated engines include a forged steel crankshaft with forged steel connecting rods and forged aluminum pistons with a compression ratio of 12.5:1,” Chrysler said in a statement. “All rotating components have been balanced for maximum performance at the track.”

The package includes JTEC controller with race calibration and engine harness.

Also, enthusiasts looking to add up to 150 horsepower from their Gen III Dodge Viper can now bolt on a Performance Upgrade Kit, part number P5156137. to the stock V10 engine. All necessary hardware and gaskets are included.

Inside, the front and rear seats and door panels are upholstered in brown and beige plaid boardshorts fabric, and the wood grain center console brings the classic surfboard theme inside. The rear center console has been modified into a shelf to hold sunblock and other beach and ocean accessories and it also has a dark brown suede headliner with a built-in towel rack.

It also gets a bunch of gadgets including an iCade gaming console with 80s-style arcade games on an iPad®, a turntable to play vinyl records, and shelves for sandals and clothing.

The USTCC Kia Optima Hybrid has a very eye-catching exterior with custom vinyl graphics, color scheme and a range of lighting, including LED auxiliary lights and HID headlights, strobe lights and LED light bar on the roof to help direct traffic.

For those driving the Safety Car, the inside is fitted with an awesome Infinity sounds system, a navigation system, a video system, wireless headphones, and 7-inch monitors in the head rests. Really? Is all that necessary in a Safety Car?

While there is no word of official production, Mazda is likely testing public reaction to see if the company can make a business case for a high-performance Mazda2.

The Mazda Turbo2 is fitted with the 2.3 liter MZR Direct Injection Spark Ignition (DISI) turbo engine from the MazdaSpeed3. In the 3, the engine is good for 263-hp at 5,500 rpm with a maximum torque of 280 lb-ft at 3,000 rpm.

The Mazda Turbo2 also gets an HR coil over suspension kit, Corksport sway bars and customized Brembo front brakes with 13-inch ventilated and slotted rotors.  The rear brakes remain Mazda stock parts. It rides on 17-inch OZ Racing Wheels wrapped in Yokohama ADVAN Neova 215/40R17 performance tires.

COPO Camaro – A conceptual exploration of a factory-built Stock Eliminator race car and the spiritual successor to the legendary special-order models from 1969.

Camaro Hot Wheels – This full-scale interpretation of a Hot Wheels toy is inspired by the “Custom Camaro” model, which was part of the original release of 16 Hot Wheels toys in 1968 – including a modern take on the chrome-style “Spectraflame” exterior finish.

Camaro Red Zone – A design statement in the new-for-2012 Crystal Claret exterior color and achieved with current and future accessories – and it debuts a new, heritage-inspired stripe graphic that will be available soon.

Camaro Synergy Series Concept – Using the best of the best Camaro accessories matched with a distinctive silver exterior with red accents, it’s the latest in the Synergy concepts that have debuted at SEMA. Chevrolet will be listening to the reaction it receives at SEMA, as it could be brought to production.

Camaro 1LE Concept – The legendary 1LE designation returns to the Camaro as a concept intended to carve up road courses. While only a concept, it borrows production components from both the Camaro SS and forthcoming Camaro ZL1 to deliver a competition-ready package.

Camaro ZL1 Carbon Concept – This concept incorporates all the technology and performance of the Camaro ZL1 – which goes on sale in 2012 – with an added layer of carbon fiber to add a decidedly sinister-looking element of form to a car that’s all about function.
