<p><strong>Refresher</strong>: Power for the 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 comes from a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat 6-cylinder engine making 500-hp at 8,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 339 lb-ft at 5,750 rpm. Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph. 0 to 124 mph comes in just under 12 seconds. Only 600 units of the special-edition model will be built with prices starting at $185,000.</p>

	<p>Recent reports have suggesting that the next-generation Porsche 911 GT3 will get the brand&#8217;s lighter and faster dual-clutch PDK transmission. Well, that isn&#8217;t so. According to Porsche CEO Matthias Muller, Porsche will continue to offer manual transmissions as long as customers keep demanding it.</p>
<p>Earlier reports suggest that Porsche will go the PDK-S route for the new 911 GT3 since it would step up performance but the issue of it not being appropriate for enthusiasts has held Porsche back from not offering a manual gearbox.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s safe to bet that the new Porsche 911 GT3 will get the 7-speed manual that is currently offered on the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera lineup.</p>

<p><strong>Refresher</strong>: Power for the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera comes from a new 3.4 liter boxer 6-cylinder making 350-hp. The 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S is powered by a 3.8 liter boxer making 400-hp. Mated to a Porsche’s PDK 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the 911 Carrera runs from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and 4.2 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package’s Launch Control function. The 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S with a PDK goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and 3.9 seconds with the Launch Control function of the optional Sport Chrono Package. Top speed for the 911 Carrera S and 911 Carrera comes in at 188 mph and 179 mph, respectively. Prices start $82,100 for the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera and $96,400 for the 2012 911 Carrera S.</p>

<li><strong>Porsche 911 GT3 RS</strong>: Power for the 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 comes from a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat 6-cylinder engine making 500-hp at 8,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 339 lb-ft at 5,750 rpm. Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph. 0 to 124 mph comes in just under 12 seconds. Only 600 units of the special-edition model will be built with prices starting at $185,000.</li>

<p>In one of the most grueling races for GT sports cars, Porsche claimed victory once again in the 39th Nurburgring 24 Hour Race. The winning Porsche 911 GT3 RSR was piloted by a team of drivers including Marc Lieb, Timo Bernhard, Romain Dumas and Lucas Luhr.</p>
<p>The Porsche 911 GT3 RSR finished 4 minutes and 23.7 seconds ahead of the BMW M3 GT that won the race last year.</p>
<p>Timo Bernhard won the Nurburgring 24 Hour Race for the 5th time, putting him at a tie for most wins with Pedro Lamy and Marcel Tiemann.</p>

<p>Coming in third in the race was the Audi R8 LMS.</p>
<p>While BMW has the most victories with a total of 19 wins. Porsche now has 11.</p>

<p>The outside of the car gets a crisp coat of while paint, hence it&#8217;s &#8220;Snowmobile&#8221; nickname.  Apart from that and the contrasting black racing stripe, little else was modified on the exterior.</p>
<p>Visual interior upgrades include Alcantara, leather, and high gloss painted trim.  Diamond patterns are set in the inlays on the seats and door panels. But the 2,100-watt sound system is is perhaps the most major upgrade, with custom modifications to all of the speakers and a down-fire 10&#8243; sub woofer.</p>

<p>Performance enhancements have not been left out, of course, and include an upgraded ECU and sport exhaust system installed by Wimmer RS. The end result is a 456-hp and 333 lb-ft of torque motor that moves at a top speed of 197 mph.</p>

<p><strong>SNOWMOBILE Porsche GT3 made by MAGNAT</strong></p>
<p>That a Porsche GT3 &#8211; since 1999 built in first generation 911 Porsche sport version with water-cooled engine (now it is available in 4th generation!) &#8211; ever and always may be found on race tracks, was possibly planned by the manufacturer; but, otherwise, this does not apply at all to the successor of the legendary Carrera RS, which conception was also focused on essential things only. Presented in the following example of an unblemished driving machine shows perfectly that a &#8220;snow mobile&#8221; (so called because of its white car body painting) may also be provided with a first class car Hi-Fi equipment.</p>
<p>Thanks to the motor electronics adaptation, the modified exhaust system including sport catalysts and suction tubes optimization &#8211; all coming from Wimmer racing sport techniques in Solingen, Germany, and is called RS step 3 &#8211; the GT3 has been pepped up to a power performance of 462 hp, max torque of 451 Nm and Vmax of 317 km/h (197 m/h).</p>
<p>The wheel-tire-combination Ultraleggera HLT CT by OZ in 8.5 and 12&#215;19 in. with Yokohama Advan Sport in 235/35-19 and 305/30-19 provides perfect contact with asphalt.</p>
<p>Individuality in the interior. Magnat has re-engineered the whole internal space of the car in finest craftsmanship and highest quality. Leather, Alcantara and high gloss paintwork let the GT3 shine in its unique design, the dynamic diamond patterns setting sportive and, in the same time, exclusive accents.</p>
<p>The 2,100 watts sound system has been adapted by Magnat especially for the GT3 interior. The original loud speaker brackets have been technically overhauled, offering sensibly better sound blasting qualities in comparison to the serial sound installation. There have been employed Magnat Selection series loud speakers, letting the inner space sound like a concert hall because of their anodized PP membranes, high performance voice coils and the 1&#8243; textile tweeters. Especially for the GT3, Magnat has developed a down-fire subwoofer casing with 10&#8243; woofer. Normally, this woofer principle is being used only for high quality home cinema installations, but it matches fine with the impressionating sound acoustics. The heart of the sound equipment is formed by the Magnat Black Core 5 channel amplifier providing its total power of 2,100 watts for sufficient power reserves and music pleasure while enjoying to drive the GT3.<br />
According to an old German, it is a sound that makes music. Besides, it is justifiable to say: It is a fine Magnat sound that makes music&#8230;</p>

<p>Porsches are meant to be driven like they were stolen. Whether it’s bombing the Autobahn or your favorite race circuit, Porsche equipped some of its cars with racecar style center locking wheel-retention system to reduce weight and wheel flex. So the last thing you want to hear is that they’re being recalled.</p>
<p>A total of 1,702 Porsche 911s equipped with the center-locking hubs, which includes the 911 GT2 RS, the GT3 and GT3 RS, the 911 Turbo and Turbo S, are being recalled because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that as they wear, the wheels could loosen.</p>
<p>&#8220;Over time, the hubs can wear prematurely,&#8221; said NHTSA in its recalls summary of the problem. &#8220;As the hubs wear, the wheels could loosen, increasing the risk of a crash.&#8221;</p>

<p>Porsche also confirmed and announced that this is a small possibility but is only most likely with cars operating under racing conditions. For example, back in August of 2010, a German Porsche dealer that also sponsors racing teams in events at European racetracks notified Porsche AG of several cases where the center wheel hubs failed on three 911 Carrera GT3s during semiprofessional racing conditions. However, there are no reported cases during public road use, Porsche also said.</p>
<p>The Zuffenhausen make also responded by developing new components as well as improved instructions for use under racing conditions. Porsche dealers will replace the center-locking hubs and wheels with the improved design for free so if you are an owner of a Porsche with the center-locking wheel retention system, you can contact Porsche at 1-800-767-7243 for more information.</p>

<p><strong>Refresher</strong>: Power for the 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 comes from a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat 6-cylinder engine making 500-hp at 8,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 339 lb-ft at 5,750 rpm. Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph. 0 to 124 mph comes in just under 12 seconds. Only 600 units of the special-edition model will be built with prices starting at $185,000.</p>

Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph. 0 to 124 mph comes in just under 12 seconds. Only 600 units of the special-edition model will be built with prices starting at $185,000.</p>

<p>After all the rumors, speculations and leaks, Porsche today finally unveiled the new 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 &#8211; the hardest going 911 before you reach the $245,000 911 GT2 RS.</p>
<p>The track-inspired production 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is powered by a 4.0L flat 6-cylinder engine that uses forged pistons, the connecting rods are fashioned from titanium, and the crankshaft has been lifted unchanged from the 911 GT3 RSR race car. That allows it to push out 500-hp at 8,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 339 lb-ft at 5,750 rpm. The 911 GT3 RS 4.0&#8242;s power-to-weight ratio is 5.99 lbs/hp. All that power is transferred to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission allowing the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 to go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph. 0 to 124 mph comes in just under 12 seconds. Porsche says that the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 offers truly impressive performance and has lapped the famed Nurburgring-Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 27 seconds.</p>
<p>In addition to all that performance the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 also gets suspension upgrades and weight reduction thanks to standard lightweight components such as light but strong carbon fiber sport bucket seats, carbon fiber front fenders and luggage compartment lid, and weight-optimized carpets. With a full tank of fuel, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 weighs in at 2,998 pounds.</p>
<p>The 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is available in Carrara White as standard with a bunch of graphics, low ride-height, large rear wing with side plates, central twin tailpipe, and the aerodynamically optimized body.</p>
<p>Production of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 will be limited to just 600 units with prices starting at $185,000. Sales in the United States start in late 2011.</p>

<p>We now have an alleged leaked image of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0, which has not been confirmed as real or fake.</p>
<p>Of course, you should take this with a grain of salt for now until Porsche confirms something officially.</p>

<p>The next-generation Porsche 911 is scheduled to be unveiled later this year, but according to recent reports, the Stuttgart automaker is planning another special-edition variant for the current model.</p>
<p>Reports suggest that Porsche is working on Porsche 911 GT3 RS Limited Edition, which will be unveiled on April 7.</p>
<p>Details are a bit vague but reports suggest the 911 GT3 RS Limited Edition will be powered by a 4.0L flay 6-cylinder engine making 493-hp, which is about 50-hp more than the standard model.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ll see on April 7, if this report is believable or not.</p>
<p><strong>Refresher</strong>: Power for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS comes from a 3.8L unit that delivers more output, revving up to 8,500 rpm while producing a neck-snapping 450-hp. Sales in the U.S. begin in early spring of 2010 with prices starting at $132,800.</p>

With a strong track time like that, Porsche has now decided to build a track oriented version of the GT3 RS, known as the 911 GT3 Cup Race Car.</p>
<p>Power comes from same 3.8L flat 6-cylinder engine making 450-hp.</p>
<p>The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Race Car is designed and engineered by the same team responsible for the Porsche 911 GT3 and RS road cars. While the road-going car weight 1,370 kg (3,020 lbs), the 911 GT3 Cup race car tips the scales at 1,200 kg (2,645 lbs).</p>
<p>The new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup costs £94,600 plus VAT ($149,873 USD) with deliveries to begin in early 2011. The model will race in the 2011 Porsche Carrera Cup GB, the UK&#8217;s fastest single marquee sports car Championship.</p>

<p>The new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car that will make its debut in the 2011 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship is the latest edition of the best-selling racing car of all time, having been built in a production series of more than 1,400 units since 1998.</p>
<p>The latest 911 GT3 Cup racer is based for the first time on the 911 GT3 RS road car, with the weight of the motor sport derivative reduced significantly versus the already lightweight road car. The 911 GT3 Cup is designed for racing in the many Porsche Carrera Cup Championships around the globe and the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup that supports Grands Prix, and was based previously on the 911 GT3.</p>
<p>As a consequence of being based on the 911 GT3 RS, this is the first 911 GT3 Cup car to feature the 44-millimetre (1.73&#8243;) wider body at the rear, which provides increased space for even larger wheels and slick tyres. Wider front wheel arches also clearly show that the front wheels/tyres are likewise bigger which, combined with other evolutionary changes, has enabled the dynamic performance of the latest car to reach new heights.</p>
<p>Engine capacity is up by 0.2 litres over the prior GT3 Cup car, with power output rising by 30 hp more than before. Thus the rear-mounted 3.8-litre six-cylinder horizontally-opposed power unit develops 450 hp, and drives the rear wheels through a sequential six-speed manual gearbox and limited slip differential.</p>
<p>Emphasising the Porsche &#8216;track to road&#8217; philosophy which has guided the company since its beginnings in 1948, the power unit featured in the new 911 GT3 Cup is largely identical to the production engine in the 911 GT3 RS &#8220;“ and offers the same output of 450 hp and identical maximum engine speed of 8,500 rpm.</p>
<p>The 911 GT3 Cup race car is designed by the same team based in Weissach, near Stuttgart, Germany, responsible for the iconic Porsche 911 GT3 and RS road cars. In keeping with the lightweight, race-bred credentials that are synonymous with Porsche RS models, the road car weighs 1,370 kg. As befits its single-minded motor sport purpose, the 911 GT3 Cup race car tips the scales at 1,200 kg, resulting in even sharper performance on the circuit.</p>
<p>From the outside, the new 911 GT3 Cup clearly demonstrates its RS road car origins while at the same time maintaining the purposeful appearance of a race car. The striking daytime driving lights come straight from the current generation of the 911 and the front body panels are the same as on the 911 GT3 RS. However, the front spoiler lip is 15 millimetres (approx 0.6&#8243;) lower to provide significantly more downforce on the front axle.</p>
<p>Downforce on the rear axle is also increased by the rear wing, that is extended in width from 1.46 to 1.70 metres (57.5 to 66.9&#8243;) and now mounted higher up in a development feature reminiscent of that fitted to the even faster 911 GT3 R raced in international FIA GT3 series. The rear bumper valance with its distinctive air vent openings and LED technology rear lights, in turn, come straight from the GT3 RS road car.</p>
<p>The wider front wheel arches and the flared rear wheel housings provide ample space for even wider wheels. The front axle rides on three-piece light-alloy rims measuring 9.5 J x 18 (previously 9 J x 18) and running on 24/64-18 Michelin racing tyres. The width of the three-piece light-alloy rims on the rear axle have increased by one inch, and now measure 12 J x 18 with 27/68-18 tyres.</p>
<p>Additional Unibal joints are featured on the track control arms of the front and rear suspension to permit greater chassis adjustability, and the sword-shaped anti-roll bars fitted front and rear are now adjustable to seven different positions on both sides. Combined, this allows for an even more precise set-up of the car depending on the characteristics of the respective race track.</p>
<p>The cockpit of the new 911 GT3 Cup caters more than ever before for the specific needs of the race driver. An additional vent in the upper part of the front lid, for example, provides the driver with a better supply of fresh air. The controls for the Info Display are now positioned directly on the steering wheel which houses a total of six switches that control a variety of functions including the pit-lane speed limiter, windscreen wipers, and lights. In addition to fore-and-aft adjustment, the steering wheel may now also be adjusted for height, as on the 911 road car.</p>
<p>The new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup costs £94,600 plus VAT and deliveries to customers will begin in early 2011. Next season it will be raced not only in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, but also in the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup on the occasion of Formula 1 races and many other Cup Championships around the world.</p>

<p>Apparently, before the <a href="http://www.egmcartech.com/2009/09/16/2009-frankfurt-2009-porsche-911-gt3-rs-we-want-it-for-our-daily-commute/">2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS made its arrival to the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show</a>, it hit up the Autobahn for one final drive the night before. Manager of High Performance Cars for Porsche, Andreas Preuninger, gave our friend JF the opportunity ride shotgun as he took the first produced 2010 Porsche GT3 RS out for a ride.  Due to traffic, Preuninger was only able to get the car up to 181 mph on the unrestricted A5 Autobahn.</p>
<p>The video ends with Preuninger telling us about the development process involved with producing the GT3 RS. Right now we wish we had either Preuninger or JF&#8217;s job.</p>
<p><strong>Refresher</strong>: Power comes from a 3.8L unit that delivers more output, revving up to 8,500 rpm while producing a neck-snapping 450-hp. Sales in the U.S. begin in early spring of 2010 with prices starting at $132,800.</p>

<p>We&#8217;re pretty sure you remember Porsche and Nissan going <a href="http://www.egmcartech.com/2008/09/30/porsche-says-nissan-cheated-on-gt-rs-nurburgring-lap-time/">back</a> and <a href="http://www.egmcartech.com/2008/10/09/nissan-offers-porsche-gt-r-nurburgring-lap-time-tires-and-driving-lessons/">forth</a> last year on their Nurburgring lap times with the 911 GT2 and the GT-R. Well, they&#8217;re both back in the &#8216;Ring this year and Porsche has just thrown thrown the first punch.</p>
<p>According to Andreas Preuninger, Porsche&#8217;s Project Manager High Performance Cars, test driver Walter Rohrl managed to take the <a href="http://www.egmcartech.com/2009/04/09/2009-new-york-2009-porsche-911-gt3-comes-to-the-us/">2009 Porsche 911 GT3</a> around the famous Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 40 seconds. </p>
<p>Preuninger said that if Rohrl had been in a more competitive mood that day, he would&#8217;ve managed to knock two seconds off the unofficially clocked lap time. He said that the <a href="http://www.egmcartech.com/2007/12/27/buzz-garage-nissan-gt-r/">Nissan GT-R</a> still does no better than 7 minutes and 54 seconds that Porsche achieved last year at the Nurburgring. </p>

<p>Nissan recently hit up the Nurburgring with a <a href="http://www.egmcartech.com/2009/04/16/2010-nissan-gt-r-laps-nurburgring-in-72756-still-looking-to-beat-corvette-zr1/">mildly-updated 2010 GT-R and reported a lap time of 7:27.56</a>. It claimed to achieve a time of 7:29.03 last year.</p>
<p>Can we just get the <a href="http://www.egmcartech.com/2007/12/27/buzz-garage-2009-chevrolet-corvette-zr1/">Corvette ZR1</a> in the ring and call it a day?</p>

<p>So here&#8217;s an exciting way to kick of your Thursday morning. Porsche has just unveiled the new 2009 Porsche 911 GT3 ahead of its 2009 Geneva Motor Show debut in March. The Turbo variant will have to wait until the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show in Sept.</p>
<p>Porsche says that total downforce on the 2009 Porsche 911 GT3 has been doubled. The somewhat new &#8220;˜Aerodynamics Package&#8221; gives the new GT3 an aggressive stance along with new Bi-Xenon daytime-running headlights, LED rear light clusters, and modified air intakes and outlets.</p>
<p>The engine displacement has been increased to 3.8 liters from 3.6. The 6-cylinder naturally aspirated unit now makes a total of 435-hp (up 20-hp over the former model) allowing a 0 to 62 mph run 4.1 seconds, a 0 to 100 mph run in 8.2 seconds and a top speed of 194 mph. Driving dynamics have been improved with the addition of Porsche Stability Management (PSM), offering the ability to deactivate both Stability Control (SC) and Traction Control (TC) in separate steps.</p>
<p>The new 2009 Porsche 911 GT3 will arrive on the stateside in October with prices starting at $112,200.</p>

<p><strong>Top Performer on the Road with Ambitions on the Track &#8211; New Porsche 911 GT3 to Debut in Geneva</strong></p>
<p>READING, United Kingdom &#8220;“ January 29, 2009: The new Porsche 911 GT3, which will make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 3 2009, is the latest evolution of an iconic sports car. Embodying the essence of more than 23,000 Porsche racing victories, the 911 GT3 is the ultimate integration of driver and car and arrives in the UK this autumn.</p>
<p>In developing the second generation of the Type 997 911 GT3 into the most sporting and dynamic road-going 911 ever with a naturally-aspirated power unit, Porsche has applied a wide range of know-how gained in motor sport. Indeed, this is precisely why the new GT3 is truly impressive not only on the road, but also on the race track.</p>
<p>The 911 GT3 offers an even higher standard above all in two key areas: performance and driving dynamics. The proven six-cylinder naturally aspirated power unit now develops a maximum output of 435 hp (320 kW), up 20 hp over its predecessor. This results first and foremost from an increase in engine capacity by 200cc to 3.8-litres and from improved cylinder head gas flow: now not only the intake, but for the first time also the exhaust camshafts, are adjusted by VarioCam.</p>
<p>A further important point is that, through its upgraded power and performance, the flat six &#8220;˜boxer&#8221; engine also offers a significant increase in torque at medium engine speeds, a benefit of particular significance in everyday motoring. Clearly, this also means a further improvement in performance; the new GT3 accelerates from a standstill to 62mph (100km/h) in 4.1 seconds and reaches 99mph (160km/h) in 8.2 seconds. Top speed is 194 mph.</p>
<p>The second emphasis in developing the 911 GT3 to an even higher standard was to further improve the car&#8221;s driving dynamics. For the first time, the 911 GT3 comes with a particularly sporting variant of Porsche Stability Management (PSM), offering the facility to deactivate both Stability Control (SC) and Traction Control (TC) in separate steps. And to give the driver unrestricted, individual control over the driving dynamics of his car, these functions are not reactivated automatically even under the most extreme driving conditions, but only at the touch of a button.</p>
<p>The new GT3 offers increased grip and stability at high speeds, courtesy of specific modifications to the car&#8221;s aerodynamics which have increased downforce front and rear to such an extent that the overall air pressure pushing down on the car is more than twice as great as on the former model. At the same time, the new &#8220;˜Aerodynamics Package&#8221; gives the GT3 a distinctive appearance which is further accentuated by new Bi-Xenon headlights, LED rear light clusters, and modified air intakes and outlets.</p>
<p>The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) fitted to the 911 GT3 has enabled Porsche engineers to make the springs and anti-roll bars stiffer yet again, thus ensuring even more precise handling in the PASM &#8220;˜sports&#8221; mode. However, the PASM ensures appropriate ride comfort suitable for everyday use when in the &#8220;˜normal&#8221; PASM mode. The GT3 rides on new, lighter wheels in a racing-inspired design &#8211; with a centre locking nut &#8211; fitted with ultra-high performance (UHP) tyres. Tyre pressure monitoring is fitted as standard.</p>
<p>With driving dynamics and performance increasing to an even higher level, following Porsche tradition the braking system has also been enhanced accordingly on the new 911 GT3. The brakes now feature larger friction discs and an aluminium cover to reduce un-sprung weight further still. Brake ventilation has been improved, which guarantees a higher level of consistent stopping power over long periods. As an option, the GT3 comes as before with an exclusive version of the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) made specifically for this model.</p>
<p>Making the car even more suitable for the race track, the new 911 GT3 will be available with the option of new and highly innovative Porsche Active Drivetrain Mount (PADM) engine mountings. These special engine mounts recognise a particularly sporting, race-like style of driving, making the normally &#8220;˜elastic&#8221; engine mounts harder and particularly resistant. This retains all the motoring comfort of the GT3 in everyday traffic, while on the race track the effect of the mass forces coming from the engine is much reduced, particularly in fast bends and on winding tracks. Yet a further advantage is improved traction when accelerating from a standstill.</p>
<p>Another new feature is the optional lift system for the front axle which is able to increase the ground clearance of the car, at the touch of a button, for driving on bumpy surfaces or steep gradients &#8220;“ for example into an underground garage &#8220;“ by 30 millimetres (approx 1.2 inches).</p>
<p>The new Porsche 911 GT3 goes sale in the United Kingdom and Ireland from autumn 2009, priced from £81,914. Further specifications and technical details will be confirmed nearer to launch.</p>
<p>Fitted to every 911 GT3 is a Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), a sophisticated vehicle security package approved to Thatcham Category 5 standard, and customers will also be able to explore the potential of their new car by participating in a complimentary course at the new Porsche Driving Experience Centre, Silverstone.</p>
