Outside, the Limited Edition is coated in Sebring Blue paint in a matte finish, and includes carbon fiber accents, a set of 20-inch alloy wheels, and polished aluminum brake calipers. The interior gets a set of sport seats covered in Alcantara, special Anniversary badges on the center console, and more carbon fiber trim.

Power comes from the same 4.7-liter V8 that produces 444-hp and 376lb-ft of torque found in the standard GranTurismo S, which enables it to go from 0-62 mph time of 4.9 seconds, and a top speed of 183 mph.

Maserati has just unveiled a new package for their beautiful and lustful GranTurismo grand touring sports coupe. Called the Sport Pack, which will only be offered on the Gran Turismo S automatic in the UK market, the new package features new exterior and interior styling treatments.

New body colored side skirts and front winglets, a new black grill featuring the Maserati Trident logo with red accents, black mesg side grilles, shadowed out headlights, an integrated rear lip spoiler and oval exhaust pipes are all featured in the new package. Also included is a reworked transmission software for the ZF automatic transmission and a revised exhaust system that keeps its bypass valves fully open when in Sport mode.

The Gran Turismo S features a Ferrari-derived 4.7L V8 that’s good for 440hp and 361 lb-ft of torque. The results are 0-60 in five seconds flat and onto a top speed of 183 mph.

Maserati’s head turning Grand Turismo S now has a ‘Superior Black Edition’ crafted by tuner Anderson Germany. If you haven’t already gathered, the car is coated, inside and out, in black. But it’s defiantly not as plain looking as it sounds.

The car’s exterior is repainted in matte black, with tinted front and tail lights to match. Shining black accents include the front grille, rear logo and window frames. A set of 21 inch black gloss wheels replace the Maserati’s standards, and the car is dropped all the way around. Carbon fiber wraps exterior pieces including the mirrors, roof ledges, tailgate, and lateral air inlets.

Inside the Maserati Superior Black Edition there is, naturally, more black. Carbon fiber details extend to the interior on the door knobs, air inlets, door sill panels, roof liner, seat regulation levers, the steering wheel, radio mask, and even the shifting panels. A ton of media upgrades are included as well, such as the customer sound system, monitors in the headrests, a PS3, sub woofer and amp, and a loud speaker. Black Alcantara, carbon leather, and red stitching finish off the interior’s details.

Of course, no tuner would be complete without at least some kind of power enhancement. Upgrades to the exhaust system help put out an upgraded 485-hp on the car’s 4.7-liter V8.

The Sovrano 2011 is DMC of Germany’s latest tune that starts off as a stock Maserati Gran Turismo. The Maserati gets fully redone everywhere that it counts.

Interior mods result in a nice-looking two tone made up of leather upholstery with checkered stitching on the seams. The driver’s side gets a new sport steering wheel and aluminum pedals.

On the outside the car gets dropped 30 mm all around and gets 20 inch wheels and tires in the front, with 21-inches for the rear. Tire sizes are at 255/30R20 and 305/30/R21, respectively. Carbon -fiber parts make up the aerodynamic body kit that includes, a redesigned front bumper, lightweight bonnet with air inlets and outlets, a boot-lid spoiler, rear diffuser, and wide body side skirts.

Power mods include an ECU remap that teams up with a supercharger to put out 582-hp and 348-lb-ft of torque. Displacement is at 4.7-liters on the V8 engine. Overall power improvement hits 148-hp and 60 lb-ft of torque.

Refresher: Power for the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale comes from  the brand’s 4.7L V8 that delivers 444 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque for a 0-60 time of just 4.9 seconds. 2012 Maserati GranCabrio Sport

The Maserati GranTurismo is one of the most beautiful Tridents we’ve ever seen (feel free to disagree with us). Either way, at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the Fiat-owned Italian supercar maker will unveil the new Maserati GranCabrio Sport.

Now if you’ve kept up-to-date with the Maserati GranTurismo lineup, you’ll remember that the convertible variant already came standard with the 434-hp 4.7L V8 that was found in the Maserati GranTurismo Sport.

For the Maserati GranCabrio Sport, Maserati is taking it a step further. Power comes from the same 4.7L V8 engine, but output has been increased to 450-hp and a maximum torque of 376 lb-ft. Mated to a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission, the GranCabrio Sport’s top speed is clocked in at 177 mph.

The Maserati GranCabrio Sport will go on sale in all of the company’s 62 markets in summer 2011. In the United States the Maserati GranCabrio Sport will be known as the Maserati GranTurismo Sport Convertible.

If you haven’t notice by now, the 2010 Paris Motor Show is well on its way. Exactly 10 days ago, Maserati unveiled the GranTurismo MC Stradale, the fastest, lightest and most powerful car in the Maserati range. Today, Maserati dropped a bunch of new images for fans to drool over.

“The GranTurismo MC Stradale produces more aerodynamic down force without producing more aerodynamic drag, it produces more power ““ 330kw, 450 hp ““ without using more fuel and it is more agile without sacrificing the GranTurismo S”s highly praised ride quality,” Maserati said in a statement.

The Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale will go on sale in the first quarter of 2011.

Mansory Maserati GranTurismo S

Mansory is one tuner that is really well known for their aggressive styling and bold colors. The tuner has now released a new tuning program for the Maserati GranTurismo and GranTurismo S with exterior, interior and power upgrades.

On the outside, the Mansory Maserati GranTurismo gets a new redesigned front bumper with a lip spoiler, a new grille, front air scoops, side skirts, rear bumper, a new rear diffuser and a new trunk lip spoiler. Mansory says that all exterior body parts are made in visible carbon fiber manufactured by the company. On the inside, the interior features Mansory’s own brand of leather upholstery along with aluminum pedals and a new sporty steering wheel.

Power increases for the Mansory Maserati GranTurismo and GranTurismo S come from an optimized ECU, a high-flow air filter and a new sports exhaust system. Both get an increase of 30-hp giving the GranTurismo a total of 405-hp, while the GranTurismo S gets 440-hp. Torque has been increased to 339 lb-ft for the GranTurismo and 361 lb-ft for the GranTurismo S.

Exclusive tuning programme for Maserati GranTurismo and GranTurismo S.

MANSORY has long been known has the specialist for refining luxury automobiles. Now, the company from Brand in Bavaria has added an additional traditional brand to their tuning portfolio. The stylish and sporty conversion of the Maserati GranTurismo is once again proof of the fact that MANSORY has excellent know-how when it comes to customising Italian premium sports cars. Besides, the star, Emily, Flying B, leaping race horse, Bugatti oval and Aston wings, MANSORY products now also adorn sports cars with Neptune’s trident.

In the first instance, the eye is drawn to the striking MANSORY bodywork modifications: a newly designed front spoiler with discreet spoiler lip gives the front a significantly more sporty appearance, and the carbon fibre radiator grille highlights the famous Maserati trident in the centre of the grille. Additional air inlets and outlets enable the new light-construction bonnet to optimally regulate the temperature in the V8 engine compartment. The GranTurismo seems much closer to the tarmac thanks to the drawn-down deep door-sills. The carbon fibre spoiler lip at the back, the carbon inlay for the integrated exhaust pipes in the rear apron and a diffuser complete the sporty look. All add-on parts are made from carbon fibre and are manufactured by MANSORY using autoclave prepreg processing.

To ensure extra focus to the sporty add-on parts, MANSORY uses progressive sport suspension in the front and rear axles, which lower the vehicle’s centre of gravity by around 30 millimetres. Contact to the tarmac is maintained by 255/30 R 20 front tyres and 305/30 R 21 tyres at the back. MANSORY is the first manufacturer worldwide to market forged wheels exclusively for Maserati GranTurismo models. On request of the customer, these wheels are sprayed in the colour of the vehicle and decorated with black accents.

The Maserati GranTurismo and GranTurismo S also gain power under the bonnet, thanks to MANSORY. A performance-optimised ECU, an air filter with increased air throughput and a sports exhaust system with two double-suction tail pipes enhance the performance of the V8 aggregates by 30 HP each (series: GT 405 HP / GTS 440 HP). At the same time, the torque is increased by around 40 Nm compared to the series models (GT 460 Nm at 4750 / GTS 490 Nm at 4750).

The interior features MANSORY’s own brand of upholstery. The finest materials have been processed in traditional top-quality craftsmanship to add that individual touch to the inside of the MANSORY GranTurismo. The leather used by MANSORY for the interior is hard-wearing yet exceptionally soft. The chequered stitch in the ornamental seams on the inside makes for elegance as well as sportiness. Wherever you look: expert handcraft, individual design and top quality. The aluminium pedals and new ergonomically designed sporty steering wheel are additional visual highlights.

A modified Maserati? It may be a rare sighting but German-based tuning firm Novitec specializes in offering tuning packages for Fiat Group brands including Ferrari, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and… Maserati. The company’s Novitec Tridente made its world debut with a performance package for the Quattroporte in 2007 and is now back in 2009 with a performance package for the GranTurismo S.

Now the GranTurismo S may be everything one wants from a high-priced vehicle including luxury, eye-popping gorgeous looks and a powerful engine. However at 440-hp, the engine doesn’t do justice to the segment in which this Maserati competes in.

In comes Novitec with a supercharged 4.7L V8, an upgraded ECU and a tuned exhaust system. Power has been increased from a boring 440-hp to a whopping 600-hp.

Novitec is also offer modest appearance upgrades for the GranTurismo including a front spoiler, rear wing, side skirts, and 21-inch 5-spoke wheels.

While you’ll have to wait until the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show to see the GranTurismo Spyder, Maserati today unveiled the brand new GranTurismo S Automatic at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.

The new Maserati GranTurismo S is powered by a 4.7L V8 producing 440-hp with 361 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a ZF 6-speed automatic gearbox for those that don’t like the hassle of changing gears (to us it’s mandatory – not a hassle.

Other than that the GranTurismo S Automatic gets 20-inch wheels, Bluetooth as standard with an optional iPod interface that completes the Maserati Multi Media System.

Maserati announced today that it will unveil the GranTurismo S Automatic at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show next week. The GranTurismo S Automatic will be powered by the same 4.7L V8 making a total of 440-hp with a maximum torque of 361 lb-ft.

The engines will be mated to a ZF 6-speed automatic gearbox. Other than that, the Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic features all the aggressive styling from its GranTurismo S sibling along with the 20-inch wheels. Inside the GranTurismo S Automatic features Bluetooth as standard with an optional iPod interface that completes the Maserati Multi Media System.

As reported before, Maserati will unveil the GranTurismo Spyder (convertible) at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

2009 Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic:

The 450-hp Maserati GranTurismo MC Corse Concept was created by Maserati Style Center as a racing-version of the GranTurismo S made just for the track. It was reported last month that Maserati is considering a road-going version of the car that would compete with the likes of the Porsche GT3 RS.

Well while Maserati is still considering, the Italian automaker unveiled the new MC Sport Line at the 2008 Bologna Motor Show that adds to Maserati’s already extensive list of personalized features which enhance the look of your Maserati GranTurismo or GranTurismo S.

Maserati is presenting the MC Sport Line with the GranTurismo S at the Bologna Show which features a front and rear carbon fiber spoiler straight from the GranTurismo MC Corse Concept, new side skirts finished in matte-black, carbon fiber mirror housing and door handles and glossy black 20-inch wheels.

HAMANN hasn’t gotten around to offering us a Maserati GranTurismo with more power but it is offering its 21-inch EDITION RACE wheels for the sexiest car in Maserati’s collection. The set includes FA 9.0Jx21 with 245/30ZR21 tires and RA 12.5Jx21 with 345/45ZR21 tires.

You can throw the look-changing set of wheels on your 405-hp 4.5L V8 GranTursimo or your 440-hp 4.7L V8 GranTurismo S.

Remember that Maserati GranTurismo MC Corse Concept that we saw in Paris?  The car was produced by Maserati Style Center as a racing version of the 440-hp GranTurismo S made for the track. The GranTurismo has been with Maserati for almost a year and half now with hotter ‘S’ version being the range-topper. Well, if the S isn’t hardcore enough for you, you’ll be happy to learn that Maserati is considering a road-going version of the MC Corse Concept.

The GranTurismo MC Corse Concept is powered by the same 4.7L V8 from the GranTurismo S but makes an additional 10 horses for a total of 450-hp and a peak torque of 376 lb-ft. It also gets upgraded brakes, improved aerodynamics, a lighter and more stiff chassis and an upgraded suspension. Maserati Style Center topped it off with 18-inch allow wheels and an FIA-approved roll cage.

According to EVO, if the sales of the GranTurismo and GranTurismo S stay strong Maserati will build a road-going “˜halo” model based on the GranTurismo MC Corse to compete with the likes of Porsche”s GT3 RS.

Of course, before that takes place, we’ll see a drop-top GranTurismo.

Ever since we’ve seen the new Maserati GranTurismo MC Corse Concept, we’ve fallen in love with the GranTurismo even more than before. We’re hoping Maserati brings it to the 2008 LA Auto Show next month – but until then we’ve found a video of the car being tested at the Monza circuit motorsport race track by Vodafone FIA GT driver, Andrea Bertolini.

The video shows the view from the inside of the concept doing a hot lap around Monza. The GranTurismo MC Corse Concept gets upgraded brakes, improved aerodynamics, a lighter and more stiff chassis, upgraded suspension settings for racing capabilities and of course, more performance. And by more performance we mean an additional 10-hp from the 440-hp 4.7L V8 from the GranTurismo S.

MASERATI PRESENTS THE GRANTURISMO S

A year after the unveiling of the GranTurismo, Maserati will be back at the Geneva International Motorshow with yet another world premiere, the GranTurismo S. The ultimate expression of the Trident coupé”s sportiness shifts the emphasis onto performance and driving enjoyment.

Two main novelties are at the heart of the new Maserati: the 440 hp V8 4.7 engine and the electro-actuated gearbox with fast MC-Shift arranged in the transaxle layout typical of high-performance sports cars that represents the technological DNA of all Maseratis.

The GranTurismo S makes use of the high-performance brake system developed in collaboration with Brembo and introduced for the first time in the automotive field on the Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S. The system features front brake discs made with dual-cast technology ““ a dual casting of cast iron and aluminium, paired with aluminium mono-bloc 6-piston brake callipers, ensuring optimised braking performance.

On the exterior the Maserati GranTurismo S is characterised by a number of aesthetic modifications that, although discrete, are highly effective and make the car body appear sportier without abandoning the sleekness of the lines masterfully designed by Pininfarina.

The interior upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather and Alcantara reflects the sporty flair of the Maserati GranTurismo S; the figure-hugging front and rear seats are distinguished by their new dynamic design with horizontal piping on the seats and seatbacks.

Ah yes, the Maserati GranTurismo. The car already has a very special place in hearts and next week at the Geneva Motor Show, our feelings will only get stronger for this sexy coupe as Maserati brings us the GranTurismo S. The Maserati GranTurismo S will take this stylish coupe into the high-performance league with an extra 30 horsepower.

The Maserati GranTurismo S will be powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine producing up to 435 horsepower and will be matted to Maserati’s quick-shifting automated manual gearbox. The range-topping GranTurismo also comes with powerful Brembo brakes as standard. More performance details will be announced next week at the Geneva Motor Show.

There are also minor changes to the exterior styling tweaks to give the GranTurismo a more aggressive look. The interior is trimmed with leather and Alcantara and features a bespoke seat design.

Not to mention the convertible GranTurismo is also on its way next year.
