<p>Ken Lingenfelter has a highly respectable collection of over 150 vehicles. This weekend, the cousin of renowned NHRA racer John Lingenfelter will open lift his garage doors to the public to view his prized possessions.</p>
<p>The showing is actually a charity event, benefiting the Detroit Institute of Opthamology, with a $15 entry fee.</p>
<p>Guests can expect a myriad of genres on display. From classic muscle cars of the 60&#8242;s and 70&#8242;s including Ford Mustangs, Pontiac GTO&#8217;s, several Chevrolet models to supercars and more.</p>
<p><span id="more-88109"></span></p>
<p>Lingenfelter says of his collection &#8220;Some cars I can&#8217;t imagine selling. The Duntov [Corvette] mule, how could you sell it? It&#8217;s a one-of-a-kind. Same with the Hurst Lingenfelter Trans Am. Why would you sell it?&#8221;</p>
<p>The crowd should not be disappointed.</p>

That made it the fastest TR6060 manual transmission equipped Chevrolet Camaro. That LPE LS9 Camaro was powered by the company&#8217;s 855-hp ZR1 LS9 engine.</p>

<p>Well, the Lingenfelter Black Camaro SS is back for 2011 but this time&#8230; it&#8217;s pumping out in the neighborhood of 1,200 horsepower. For 2011, the Lingenfelter Camaro SS gets revised pedders, Lingenfelter drag race shock absorber package<br />
427 CID LSX engine, Lingenfelter CNC ported, GM LS3 six bolt cylinder heads, face plated TR6060 Trans by RPM Transmissions, strain gauged shifter and an LPE (LNC-TC1) 2-step with shift torque cut.</p>
<p>Lingenfelter has released a video of the 2011 Black Camaro SS testing on the dyno but a track video is expected to be release very soon. We can&#8217;t wait to see what the quarter-mile run in this will be.</p>

<p>Upset that your 2008-2010 Dodge Challenger won&#8217;t be as powerful as the 2011 model year? Well, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering is here to your rescue with the new Challenger Supercharger Package.</p>
<p>Available for the new 5.7L and 6.1L Dodge Challenger models, the Lingenfelter&#8217;s Dodge Challenger Supercharger Package features a Magnuson TVS 2300 intercooled supercharger system, in black powdercoat finish, a 160 degree thermostat, properly sized fuel injectors and a high flow air intake system.</p>
<p>Lingenfelter says that baseline testing on a Mustang chassis dyno showed the 6.1L Challenger produced 373-hp and 355 lb-ft of torque. After Lingenfelter&#8217;s supercharger enhancements, the LPE-tuned 6.1L Challenger produces 500 rear wheel horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.</p>

We now have our first real look at the car before its official SEMA debut thanks to <em>CARandDRIVER</em>.</p>
<p>Besides the new redesign and the 20-inch honeycomb wheels, the Lingenfelter 455 T/A Concept gets a 455-cubic-inch V8 that helps pump out 655-hp with a maximum torque of 610 lb-ft.</p>

<p>Lingenfelter, a 30-year old tuning firm owned by John Lingenfelter, has released its tuning package for the <a href="http://www.egmcartech.com/2008/06/16/buzz-garage-2010-chevrolet-camaro/">2010 Chevrolet Camaro</a>.</p>
<p>Performance wise Lingenfelter&#8217;s tuning package starts off with a supercharged version of the Camaro SS&#8217;s 6.2L LS3 V8 making a total of 550-hp, 570-hp or 650-hp. Lingenfelter is also offering a package with a twin-turbo LS7 7.0L production up to 800-hp.</p>
<p>Lingenfelter will also offer a number of visual enhancements for the 2010 Camaro including a front fascia and rocker extension, a front splitter, grille bar inserts with wire mesh texture, hood with air extractors, rear deck lip spoiler, rear fascia extention with exhaust tips and a rear tail lamp panel.</p>
