The SUV’s exterior has been coated in matte foil, including the new aero body kit. A set of matte 23-inch alloys continue the tough look of the ML 63. Inside is covered in Alcantara and leather with carbon fiber trim to match the outside. Kicherer also upgraded the stainless-steel exhaust.

Power upgrades were not overlooked, as the tuner delivers 532-hp and 472 lb-ft of torque, and pegs the top speed of the Carbon Series well over 155 mph.

Kicherer released a subtle remake of the Mercedes CLS that makes interesting use of carbon fiber. The Mercedes CLS Edition Black has very sporty appeal, but still oozes luxury, especially on the inside.

Tuned using a sports exhaust and software change, the car gets bumped up to 470-hp. A Kicherer PowerConverter was added as well to increase pedal reaction time. Hand-made wheels provide a foundation for the Mercedes. The forged 20-inch wheels get stopping power from 4 and 6 piston breaks.

Outside, there are touches of carbon fiber that can be found in some unlikely places. The rear view mirrors, parts of the grille, other pieces are now carbon fiber. Matte black and carbon fiber can be found both on the outside and the inside of the car.

Kicherer Mercedes-Benz SLS 63 Supersport GT

It seems like the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is becoming just as popular with tuners as the Mercedes SLR McLaren was in its prime days. Adding on to more than a dozen modification kits for the SLS AMG from different tuning houses around the world, German tuner Kicherer has released its take on the new Gullwing supercar.

Known as the Mercedes-Benz SLS 63 Supersport GT, the model is known as an ‘angry and aggressive’ take on the SLS, according to Kicherer.

The tuner added a nice aerodynamic body kit including a new carbon front lip spoiler and a carbon fin set. The kit is complimented by an angry looking grille and matte black exterior paint. The Mercedes-Benz SLS 63 Supersport GT rides on 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the back and sits 30 mm lower.

Power for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG has been increased to 621-hp from the base 563-hp while torque has been pushed to 516 lb-ft from 479 lb-ft. That allows the Mercedes-Benz SLS 63 Supersport GT to spring form 0 to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 199 mph.

When Mercedes-Benz introduced the new 2011 SLS AMG Gullwing, the folks at Gullwing-America wasted no time in unveiling their own modification of the car that pays homage to the original 300SL. A little late to the game, Kicherer has revealed their take on an SLS that pays a tribute to the old 300SL legend.

Kicherer’s package includes a body kit that consists of a new front lip spoiler, roof, a new rear diffusor, larger intakes and a large handcrafted frontgrill made of stainless steel. Kicherer also added 20-inch RS-1 lightweight wheels.

While Kicherer didn’t outline any power upgrades for the 563-hp 6.3L V8, it says that upgrades are available.

The Return of a Legend

The Carrera was held all through Mexico along the famous Panamerican Hgihway and supported by the Mexican government. An especially notable race took place in 1952. Mercedes were only successful in the legendary Mercedes 300 SL with wingdoors after a fright. The co-driver was hit and injured by a low flying vulture. As a result the Mercedes mechanics built a grid in front of the windscreen to prevent such a thing happening again. A curious win which is spoken of even today.

The story is so well known to the KICHERER engineers that they built – and even named – the new AMG Mercedes SLS in honour of this sporty example. That’s why as hommage the abbreviation CP can be again found in the type description.

True to the firm’s philosophy to only make conclusive additions to the basic AMG form and to keep the lines of a vehicle an in essence even more sporty version of the wingdoored car was developed. Especially the aerodynamics were able to enjoy a final high class polish. In addition the developers conceived and mounted a front spoiler lip, a roof …, a rear diffusor and larger air intakes to better cool the 6.3 litre V8 engine. All new elements developed by KICHERER are, of course, made of high class Carbon.

An immediate eye-catcher on the front of the SLS is the large handcrafted frontgrill made of stainless steel, which is optionally also available in a discreet gold tone. The optics of the vertical struts are meant to remind one of the window grill on the original Pan-American vehicle. A further highlight on the sportscar are the 3 part 20 inch RS-1 lightweight wheels. The classic double spoke design harmonises perfectly with the equally classic sportscar silhouette of the KICHERER SLS 63 CP.

At the rear of the vehicle KICHERER lets the stainless steel exhaust with four oval endpipes melodiously release the exhaust gases into the air. An integrated valve control gives the driver – fitting to the occasion – the choice between a sonorous and a discreet tone.

Various performance enhancers for the 575 PS strong aggregate are optionally available but initially only on demand.

Kicherer recently revealed their 570-hp CL 60 Coupe. The tuning firm is now back with the new CL 65 Coupe. Along with performance modifications, Kicherer added an elegant yet powerful body kit that consists of a carbon fiber front grille, mirror shells, a rear diffuser and a front apron and a stainless steel exhaust system with four tailpipes.

Power comes from the original V12 bi-turbo AMG engine that produces 612-hp but after going through Kicherer engineers, output has been increased to 650-hp. 0 to 62 mph now comes in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 199 mph (electronically limited). To provide the CL 65 Coupe with sportier character, Kicherer lowered it 22 millimeters closer to the tarmac.

The Kicherer CL 65 Coupe rides on 20-inch RS-X lightweight wheels. Interior upgrades include nappa leather seats, a hand-worked shag pile carpet, carbon fiber trims and an alcantara ceiling.

Kicherer has just unveiled its new CL 60 Coupe based on the Mercedes-Benz CL 600 coupe. Exterior modifications include a new front and rear apron made of carbon fiber components by Kicherer. Other modifications include an aggressive diffuser with a four-pipe sports exhaust system.

Power comes from Kicherer’s twin-turbo V12 CL600 kit that allows for 570-hp with a maximum torque of 663 lb-ft. The extra power comes from a modified transmission control module. Performance is further enhanced by a locking rear differential and a lowered chassis (by 25mm).
