This weekend on Top Gear Clarkson answers the question if the new Lexus IS-F is beastly enough to beat the BMW M3 Sedan. Of course, this high-performance sedan race in incomplete without the new 2008 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG but we’re guessing Top Gear couldn’t get their hands on one for the show.

Vorsteiner, a California based tuner, is known for its aftermarket projects of German cars including Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and BMW. Lexus IS Convertible coming next year, lightweight IS-F in the works

According to AutoTelegraaf, the first Lexus IS-F Convertible will come to the U.S. market next year. A diesel model has not yet been ruled out but Lexus has confirmed that it will not produce a drop-top 416-hp IS-F.
