It seems Gumpert Apollo Speed’s two minutes of Nurburgring fame is over. Radical Sportscars just announced that its road-legal SR8LM lapped the Nurburgring in a blistering 6:48. According to German magazine Sport-Auto, the Gumpert Apollo Speed has set a new record for a road-legal production car at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, bringing in a lap time of 7:11.57.
