Just a reminder – the new Grand Bentley will be unveiled (along with its name) this Sunday at 3 p.m. (Eastern Time) at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Also, later tonight Nissan will take the wraps off of the 2011 Infiniti M at 9:30 p.m.

According to Automotive News, Bentley is planning to use cylinder cutoffs in the next generation of its top-of-the-line model, the Arnage – so far known as the New Grand Bentley. The cutoff technology is designed to reduce fuel-consumption and carbon dioxide missions by shutting off individual combustion chambers that are not needed during cruising speeds.

The next-generation Bentley Arnage will make its public debut next month at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours D” Elegance in Monterey, California.

Bentley will also use an innovative technology that uses superheated air and high tool pressure to shape the Arnage’s curvaceous bodywork.

Bentley has released yet another teaser video of its upcoming ‘Grand Bentley’ scheduled to debut next month at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours D” Elegance in Monterey, California.

“The all-new grand Bentley captures the 1920s “˜grand touring” spirit of the Bentley Boys, delivering the effortless driving, exclusivity and adventure desired by the real motoring enthusiast,” Bentley said in a statement.

Bentley has yet to confirm any technical specs on the successor of the Arnage – but we’ll be sure to update you as soon as we hear anything. Stay tuned.

Bentley celebrated its 90th anniversary today with a new round of teasers for the all-new Grand Bentley. It also confirmed that the new model will make its debut at the 2009  Pebble Beach Concours D’ Elegance in Monterey, California.

Bentley said that the Grand Bentley pays homage to the “immortal Bentley Boys – a select group of businessmen, sportsmen and bons vivants – forged the company’s proud sporting pedigree both on and off the racetracks of Europe. The Bentley Boys made the legendary Le Mans endurance race their own, winning five times between 1924 and 1930.”

While that sounds like something that can be very exciting, Bentley held off on telling us the technical details. We guess we’ll have to wait until Pebble Beach.

Crewe: Wednesday 8 July. Bentley Motors today celebrates its 90th anniversary and confirms that its
all-new Bentley will be revealed – and named – in August at the Pebble Beach Concours D’ Elegance
in Monterey, California where the company is a featured marque.

Founded by W.O. Bentley in 1919, the company’s first production car, the 3-litre was delivered in
September 1921. Over the next ten years, Bentley went on to produce an array of iconic motor
cars. At the same time, the exploits of the immortal Bentley Boys – a select group of businessmen,
sportsmen and bons vivants – forged the company’s proud sporting pedigree both on and off the
racetracks of Europe. The Bentley Boys made the legendary Le Mans endurance race their own,
winning five times between 1924 and 1930.

Bentley has been very secretive about its upcoming model, known only as the ‘New Grand Bentley.’ The company has released only one teaser along with a bunch of useless videos that show us the landscape around Bentley’s Crewe headquarters.

Thanks to UK’s CAR Magazine, we now have the first official scoop on the Bentley Arnage replacement. The spy shot you’re seeing above was reportedly smuggled out of the company’s Crewe headquarters weeks ahead of the car’s unveiling at the Pebble Beach Concours in August.

It is still a mystery as to what Bentley will call the model, but sources say that the ‘Grand’ name is the leading candidate.

The only real teaser we have from Bentley about the all-new Grand Bentley (otherwise known as the successor to the Arnage) is the image released on June 10. Other than that Bentley feels releasing small videos of random landscapes in its hometown of Crewe, England are enough to keep us interested.

Guess what? We’re still interested – but it’s getting a bit lame.
