Ford announces new dual-clutch PowerShift automatic gearbox

Ford announced today that it will introduce the dual-clutch PowerShift 6-speed seen on the Lincoln C Concept in its 2010 small-cars. Weighing in less than 30 pounds than the 4-speed automatic currently seen on the Focus, the PowerShift 6-speed automatic will deliver the fuel-efficiency of a manual gearbox.
